So it’s no surprise she caused a commotion when she went for a dip in a black swimsuit while on holiday in the Italian resort of Lake Como.

The actress enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool with her friend Tamara Mello Lynn as they soaked up the sunshine at the plush Villa D’Este resort.

As Christina emerged from the water and dried off with a towel she covered up with a black wraparound dress.

The paid enjoyed a lunch in the resort’s café and the actress was also seen walking through the picturesque grounds with a book.

It was reported this year that there had been a sharp rise in breast augmentation in the UK because British women were longing to look more like Christina.

The actress told the Mail’s You magazine: ‘I hope I’m not encouraging that. ‘If there’s anything to be learned from me it’s that I’m learning to celebrate what I was born with, even though it’s sometimes been inconvenient.’

They were married last month in a small and intimate ceremony at their seafront home in California.

And now newlywed lovebirds LeAnn Rimes, 28, and Eddie Cibrian, 37, are taking time out to celebrate their union, with a romantic honeymoon at the ultra exclusive Esperanza Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Lapping up the sun, LeAnn took the opportunity to show off her incredibly slim and muscular bikini body in a sand-coloured rhinestone bikini.

Husband Eddie was certainly enjoying the view, clutching onto his new bride as he tried to coerce her into the ocean water.

The couple playfully ran around each other, with Eddie chasing the beaming blonde on the sand.

But the singer didn’t get off any lighter herself and was asked to take off her towering heels as she passed through the scanner.

LeAnn and Eddie exchanged vows in front of just 40 guests at their seafront home in Malibu, California, in late April.

Their garden was decorated in rose petals and pillows that included phrases 'My whole heart for my whole life' and 'L & R', trimmed the outdoor furniture.

LeAnn was in the Canadian city to film TV movie Reel Love about a successful, big city girl who returns to her small town roots after a family emergency only to find friends and romance.

There was speculation that LeAnn had gone on a pre-wedding diet before her big day, as the singer appeared to had lost a multitude of weight.

Some onlookers suggested that she had taken it too far.

LeAnn has shrugged off speculation about her weight, saying she is 'so over' reports that she is too thin.

Last month she wrote: 'I do not workout too much nor do I starve myself. I'm so over this and moving on.'

When her weight loss first made the news earlier this year, she claimed the pictures had been doctored to make her look thinner than she actually was.
